The Downtown Orlando Foundation, Inc. exists to enhance the desirability of working, living, entertaining and conducting business in Downtown Orlando by engaging young professionals interested in helping shape the future of the heart of the City Beautiful.

Vision & Goals

The Downtown Orlando Foundation will support organizations, programs, efforts and ideas that:

• Enhance Downtown Orlando
• Increase business activity and improve the quality of life for downtown merchants, residents and stakeholders
• Encourage economic development in the downtown district
• Integrate the growing residential population downtown
• Support the development of the Downtown Orlando cultural corridor and performing arts initiatives
• Promote the regional significance of downtown Orlando
• Preserve and cherish the history and historic significance of Downtown Orlando
• Acknowledge the role of residents and businesses in shaping, guiding and developing Downtown Orlando
• Position Downtown Orlando as an example of urban vitality and innovative planning following the principles of “new urbanism”
